POLL: Gloves or Mitts?

Quote: Originally posted by AK 77: I liked the feel of the Black Diamond Patrol Mitt (that was also on SAC the other day) but the goatskin palm feels a bit too soft for snowboarding wear and tear, so I'm still looking... The patrol mit is meant for work around the resort. Like setting off bombs, fixing people and whatever else patrollers do. Should be ok for snowboard use I think edit: I just went and looked at them. I'd buy them for sure. I want a mitt... -

Dude how on earth do you think resorts all over the world pay for it Even the small resorts manage a successful program offering open bounderies and safe controlled inbounds terrain that is knarly It's too bad that Japan is going the way of the litigious North America -

I certainly caught flack for that a couple years ago on these forums You liked the fat skis eh Slow. I bet you were able to cruise through the powder -
Ah I know the area then. Near the onsen with the shitty water pressure. I hate that place. Nothing like cooking your body in the same water as a bunch of old men or little kids and then not even being able to clean off after Yari still looks a ways off in that picture. Maybe just because it's a tiny shot

WOW!!!! 137cm at the top. 109cm mid mountain The PNW and Coastal BC is doing a bit better than Colorado 300cm total snowfall at Breakenridge 850cm total snowfall at WB Even Hakuba is reporting more snow than that Winter has hit the North Alps. It might be a shorter than normal winter but I wouldn't sell it out so soon... -

Quote: Originally posted by likesDaPow: deffinetly a big mountain powder ski Are you talking about the PE? When I think of big mountain powder skis the PE doesn't come to mind. Maybe that's just me though... I don't even think you can put big mountain and powder in the same ski description. A big mountain ski might be the Rossi Squad while a powder ski might be the Volkl Sumo. Both are very different skis meant for different parts of the mountain I'm sure the PE is a good all mountain ski and with a waste of 85mm you'll be able to ski most dumps without problems as long as you do -

I just read the Hakuba Now report. Its looking good out there now. I don't want to hear any complaints My Sunday started out logging onto the net this morning to find 8cms of fresh That turned into thigh deep snow because of high winds and heavy snowfall. Pretty good turns in the trees where it collected but the snow soon turned to freezing rain and coated everything. Early day. Just 4 hours on the hill. But I skied pretty hard. Good end to the weekend -
