Friday Whitewater opens tomorrow

Friend of mine that I am doing lots of touring with is a BC gal telemarking early early in life but is now alpine touring and downhilling it for the first time ever. She had only ever locked down her heal twice and was absolutly amazed when we were out on the weekend at how much easier a randonee setup was for going uphill Weight isn't even a question anymore as well with the Dynafit bindings In North America I'm pretty sure I've read numbers at 50/50

Good good Welcome So many possibilities with skis. The face shot, high speed turn, much easier access to the mountains compared to snowboarding, telemarking, and snowshoeing and the general fact that skiing rules

Closed cell pads are next to impossible to find in Japan At least I never found any and I was looking Closed cell pads are usually yellow Most outdoor shops only stock the blue foam pads with the foil layer on top. These are not good enough for snow as some of us have found

My car It stopped snowing there for a bit and the sky cleared above Castlegar. But now it's coming down hard again I will end up with a BA in Education. I can teach K-12

Sometimes it seems that way Most of my courses are aimed at elementary teachers which is sometimes fun and sometimes REALLY annoying Next semester I have PE I didn't have to take Music but it would have been fun

I'm on the explosives now. They are such a good ride I had art this morning. Social Studies in the evening got cancelled If the snow keeps up I will ski around the campus tomorrow. Some really good looking runs down to the Columbia River

No it didn't The thing about the Olympics is that you don't actually need very much snow to hold them People are still surprised when I tell them how much it snows in Japan
