Saw that too. Cool lady. (That Pluto Nash really was a terrible terrible movie - well the first 30 minutes I saw anyway). -

I mean this in a light-hearted way, but I noticed this summer I feel like a foreigner even back in my home country. My English has become worse than it was and I have inevitably picked up some Japanese-like behaviour which doesn't quite fit in. I suppose 6 months back there would see me change again to fit back into things, but I couldn't help feeling a bit of a foreigner this summer. Anyone else feel like that?

Bad drivers. This morning I was behind this woman driving a k car. She slowed down suddenly to almost a stop, going slightly past the road on the right. She decided she wanted to turn right so - without apparently looking behind here - she backed up (almost into me who was desperately trying to reverse as well to avoid a collision) and turned right. After she had turned right I slowly followed but it wasn't over. It seems she had made a mistake and decided she didn't want to go down this road and so she once more suddenly stopped and started reversing without looking AT ALL and once m

Japanese test - anyone going to take it?
Roger's head replied to Kumapix's topic in General off-topic discussions
Still wondering whether to lay down the cash to go for level 2, knowing I'm not ready for it. I suppose it is a good experience taking the test and it gives you some motivation to study. -
My place seems to get real dusty almost overnight, it's quite annoying.

Nice one. I'm going to give it a go this time round. -
Recently I started watching a program on Fox called Roswell. It was just "on" and I started watching and carried on watching. I think the fact that "Shiri" is totally cute might have had something do to with it.

Talking of melons http://www.break.com/index/bikinishoplifting.html And talking of real melons, where's the square and triangle ones? They are worth more than rubbish boring circular ones.

I have recently started to realise that my work is pretty much taking over my life more and more in a big way and the amount of fun I'm having is decreasing as a result. I'm seriously thinking of quitting and taking a few months off, doing a reset and starting new with something completely different. The job I have now is decent but it's not something that is giving me a chance of a lifetime opportunity of anything and so I won't have much trouble finishing. I'm just not happy with work completely taking over my life.

Some nice pink ones The best fashion of the 80s has to be the baggy-loose fit white or pink jackets with upturned sleeves, Miami Vice-like. Where can I get on of those.

Seen this? Sounds like a great idea indeed. - Hackers have managed to get Microsoft's Windows XP operating system running on an Apple Mac computer. The success ends a competition started to see if the feat was even possible when Apple unveiled computers that used Intel chips. The pair who managed the feat won $13,854 (£7,895) in prize money for their trouble. The software used to put Windows on the Mac is now being circulated so others can try to replicate the success.
