In the states, I think dentistry is known for being the most depressing occupation. I could be totally wrong, but I think I read somewhere it has one of the highest suicide rates out of any profession... I suppose if every one of my clients was terrified of me and hated coming to my office, i'd be pretty bummed out too. I gotta say... one of the few things I admire about Japanese corporate culture is the clear division between professional time and casual time. Nice to be able to let loose and at a company party without having your coworkers gossip about how you danced naked with a lampshade on your head at the company party the night before.

I had a friend who used to be really into fish, and he kept a crazy saltwater tank which had triggerfish and all kinds of cool tropical fish, but he had a smaller freshwater tank with african cichlids. Those guys were a blast to watch. They swim like maniacs and can stop dead still on a dime... sometimes swam backwards. More entertaining than his saltwater tank fish.

I think it depends on how much you like a movie. I've only watched with commentary for movies I really like. The extra dvd commentary is usually a nice extra, but most of the time its kinda pointless. ..although there are a few cases where the commentary can change a movie. A friend of mine bought the Conan dvd set, and the commentary is done by Arnold and the director. Arnold keeps the energy level at an 11 the whole time, and it is pure comedy to hear him talking about his work.

I have a moded japanese Xbox with the american version of SSX 3, so I'm note sure. Either way, even if all of the menus were in japanese, you could probably get through the entire career mode without having to understand any japanese.

I will state preemtively that ender will strongly disagree with me on this one, but don't listen to his lunatic raving... SSX 3 blows Amped 2 away. No question. Yea Amped 2 "is so much more realistic," blah blah blah. SSX3 isn't as realistic, but the gameplay is just so much more fun. Amped is way too stiff for my taste. I havent really dug into the Amped career mode, but the SSX3 career mode is awesome. In any event... Amped 2 is more or less the same as the 1st one.

Saying something to the effect of "people who do/say x,y, or z are dim" is a lame comment. thats all. ...how's it looking down from that high horse of yours?
