  1. Damn. Need. More difficult. Mascot. Your turn Man In Japan.
  2. Funny how people have locked onto that area. Does it have a "Yuzawa look" to it somehow? Perhaps it does. How about the top pair lift at Yuzawa Kogen?
  3. You need to get to these places muika: Koide Hakkaisanroku Itsukamachi Hidden gems, surely?
  4. Compared with many ski places in Japan, Niseko is like being in Australia. Don't let anyone try to convince you otherwise. Yuzawa sounds good for you. Incredibly easy to get to, just over an hour from Tokyo and you're there. And you'll probably see more snow there than you would in most other places in Japan.
  5. Attention to details, I like it! Man has created a poll I see. http://www.snowjapanforums.com/index.php/topic/22101-new-graphic-vote/

  10. Oh, I never for one moment doubted you, Go Native. Heaven forbid! I am well aware of how highly intelligent and all-aware you are, as well as being a supreme businessman with a big inheritence on the way. Lots of other peasanty-type people though are alas nowhere near as knowledgeable as your good self. I was meaning them.
  11. As can be seen in this thread and others, "Niseko Resort Area" ( ) is in no way representative of what most Japanese ski resorts are all about and their circumstances. It might as well not be part of Japan, and certainly is a very bad place to give as an example the Japan scene as a whole. I think it's pretty safe to say that a fair few Niseko-heads are absolutely oblivious to that as well. (And no, I'm not accusing anyone on here in particular of such ignorance).
  12. That looks a bit Hokkaido-y to me. But don't know where.
