Carrots for lunch

I quite like some of those protein bars but it is probably because I am usually rather HUNGRY when I have them! Anything tastes good when you are really hungry*. * except natto. -

I think people might be surprised. I would have serious reservations voting for a guy 72 years old (no offence to oldies intended, my dad is as well!).

The links on the page are good and better than before I think using the image instead of text which bunched up on my smaller screen at home. Good to keep the detailed ones at the bottom out of the way but there as you said.

I know where you are yos, I am always battling the urge to eat lots of yummy food and not putting on too much weight. I usually end up going up and down, though not extreme - usually before summer too when I am trying to cut down before visiting family etc. Like now. I don't starve myselt either but I know that I'm useless at it if I don't put a good effort in. Half -hearted doesn't work. I go jogging 4 times a week which is my big exercise thing. Not doing so bad, though sometimes I just want to pig out. -
That name does ring a bell mina2... maybe!

How often do you buy a new computer?
TheOrange replied to veronica's topic in General off-topic discussions
I still have a Pentium II somewhere. My desktop (not that one) is making some very strange noises of late at times. As it there is some scratching going on. I'm thinking that is the HDD being a bit ill.. -
Vista users - beware of Windows updates
TheOrange replied to orinoco's topic in General off-topic discussions
"no you cannot delete that file/folder because it is in use by some program" I've had that one. Not updated the machine lately though. I wish they would explain more half the time you don't really know what you are updating. -

On a roll this week. 3 days of 8km. I'll take a well earned break tonight I think.

Easter at Hakuba
TheOrange replied to Markie's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
Do you volunteer for some of these things (like camp) or is it part and parcel? -
Getting much warmer here as well the last few weeks. The snow seems a long way off now, but happily getting back into the jogging quite well.

I have a question for the geeks! I want to move the entire contents of my current computer to another (new) computer. Whats the best way to do that? I believe Vista has some built in thing but unsure as to how good it is compared to other software out there. As I start my research (yawn), was wondering what other people have used when they do this? Thanks

I got some printed out at 2L size - quite big. They looked fantastic, I didn't know quite what to expect but they were excellent. From now I'm going to be getting a selection of my photos printed out every so often.
