Favorite Beer - very important topic

I love beer! But i'm alergic to something in it. Seriously, it f*^kin' sucks. -
Despite the name Vegemite little to do with vegetables. Marmite is a similar thing as well, just with a different name. Kinda like Coca Cola and Pepsi - similar product, different taste. Vegemite is a "concentrated yeast extract". The main ingredients are yeast extract and several salts. There is also some vegetable extract, but i dont think its that much. Hope this helps to clarify what Vegemite is!! Cheers

Long shot - heavy metal club?
snowboard_freak replied to snowboard_freak's topic in General off-topic discussions
Ah Linkin Park. I saw them live a while ago. I'm a "metal head" i guess, i don't hate them at all, but they definatley aren't metal. I think they are a hybrid between poprock, nu-metal and rap rock. Only a small part is nu-metal though. I see them as a "softer" (for lack of a better word) version of Limp Bizkit. -
Yeah i think Vegemite is a bit of an acquired taste.

The whole bloody thing!!! Virus - yeah, it's pretty bad. Shreik, if you know what i did last friday the 13th - RUBBISH!!!!! Man there really are some bad movies around!!!

Long shot - heavy metal club?

fukdane - I'm into pretty much all metal, both "nu" and old. My favourite couple of bands have the "nu-metal" sound. Slipknot, Mudvayne, Drowning Pool etc But i also like "old" (from the last decade) metal like - Soulfly, Tool, Slayer, Deftones (borderline "nu"), Korn (their first two alubms are the best!!) al those kinda bands. There seems to be a very constant flow of new bands in heavy metal. The number has definatley been increasing sharply in the last 5 years. -
Has anyone here tried "Promite"?? I did once when i was a little kid, haven't touched the stuff since. It is similar to Vegemite expect that it doesn't have salt, or something like that anyway. But jesus, it makes a difference!!!
