Like tokyosnow said, give it one more chance on a weekday in season. Yuzawa is not really open yet so it seems, but once it does you should find it improve. Gala does have good park too. - again wait for the snow to arrive in quantity for that to open

Yes Happo still has more skier than snowboarder, but is good for snowboarer too.

Sometime I feel more US than Japanese, probably I will read Japanese one but I like to write in English. Many Japanese bulletin boards are so untidy (correct word?) and not easy to read in layout..this one is quite cool, and excellent home page.
