"You look like a Cheesefan? Fancy a nibble of my Edam snacks?" It is a good one I think.

Yes, cheese wonderland!

Any good recommendations for non-cheese-related books recently? What are you reading? (apart from those all important cheese guides).

Is it still snowing in Yuzawa?
cheeseman replied to mogski's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
Ski Japan Guide, are there any cheese shops/stalls at the resorts in Yuzawa then? And how about that Cheese Forum? -
What don't you like about Japan?
cheeseman replied to akibun's topic in General off-topic discussions
nekobi I agree, there is a lack of good cheeses - I do think things are getting better. I want to propose a first step being that snowjapan open a Cheese Forum for all us Cheesefans. It would be popular. The voice of the people and all that. Then I want some resorts to open some Cheese stalls, where all us cheesefans can go to enjoy a good nutritious nibble. And non-cheesefans would possibly (surely) become cheesefans. As you know, not only is cheese fun and delicious, but it's also nutritious and great for friends to eat together. Thank you. -

Many things go with cheese. Cheese is very versatile and as well as being nutritiously nutritious, it's delicious, fun for all, and a great way to break the ice with people. Thanks Ocean-Cheeseman! -

Giving up other things
cheeseman replied to frannyo's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
I would give up anything apart from cheese of course. How could anyone live without the juicy nutritiously nutritious foodstoof we all love to share and enjoy (with friends)? -
1 or 2 on a quad
cheeseman replied to bong's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
I always like to meet new people, and bring out the cheesy snacks on a lift journey with strangers. The strangers more often than not come round and the cheese - as always - brings people together (fun, tasty and nutritious as it is). -
What did Santa-san bring you?
cheeseman replied to echineko's topic in General off-topic discussions
A good selection of cheeses. -
I got a great platter of cheese for Christmas with 10 cheeses on it! What a present. It made my day. All nutritious and fun. Anyone else with any good Cheese stories for the festive season?

I still have yet to go. Anyone who has been out there and sampled the Cheese Status of any resorts please do post. Please report as such, ranking each from 1-10 with 10 being the best! - Cheese availability; - Number of types available; - Ease of access; - Cheese confitions; - General Your help is appreciated and thank you in advance. -
That is lovely. I bet you have some good Cheesefan meetings around that tree, all nibbling on your favorite cheese snacks, hey?
-
Did I mention cheese?

I like them. Especially in a morning. Definitely a morning cheese. Great just before going out there and 'hitting' the slopes. Any other cheese fans here agree?
