Yes it is open oo, saw it on the telly last night. As you would think, not as much snow as in a normal year. Makes a big difference getting to Shiga Kogen from Gunma when you can use that road.....pity you can't in winter when you most want to go there!

The World Cup channel is up and running folks if you care to tune in to Sky channel 140. Last night they had an analysis of Group F, a WC news program and then a recording of the match England vs Paraguay from a week or so ago. Loads of TV from now on it seems....

Apart from the Anfield boys - Mr Owen and Me Gerrard - look out for Joe Cole. Saw him in the Paraguay match last night (recording from a few weeks ago) and he was awesome.

It's really sad. We can only hope that no idiots turn up to fight. And also that the police don't mistake "having a good time" with "being a hooligan / starting a riot".

Still looking through the new guide, but it looks well impressive. 10 channesl, with live international transmissions, special PerfectTV cameras, 2 channesl concentrating on each team (!) etc etc. Very cool. Could do with a huge widescreen TV now...!

I saw that too. Looked like fun. You can never really tell what rollercoasters are like by seeing videos though. Much faster when you're on them. Did you see that new on at Six Flags Magic Mountain in the US - looked wicked.
