DB, headscratch was formerly Indosnm but due to his log in name being suggestive that he had been to Indo too many times ( thats indonesia not India for the japanese on this site) he decided to change his name but couldn't think of a good one so while he is scratching his head thinking about a suitable name for this forum we will just call him headscratch... what lenghts R in ya quiver for this season? 153/59/64/67 & a FISH on the way. when I first came here crew were riding really short boards, now the fashion seems to be a bit longer, even in the parks and pipe....

Steve is a profession in Reptiles and unlike Croc Dundee he is REAL. Yes you are right that we both go down the mountain but that about it. 2 completely different sports, sure they are similar in ways and since snowboarding came around it probably pushed and given new moves to freestyle skiing. same story about surfing and bodyboarding surfers genrally look down on anyone that uses a different craft regardless of their ability. as for me totally NO interest in skiing

Japanese parenting is pathetic! The mums that just let their kid scream wild in the supermarkets and stores without even looking at them. What happened to the good ol smack on the bum? Japanese parents are too frikkin scared to do shyait. Then the kids rule them. Boys especially are very very messed up in the head. 8 -12year olds sleeping with their parents, mums letting the boys fondle their breasts.... Just too frikin weird 4 me! I have a little bub on the way in a few more months, so if its any thing like i was i am going to have to stock up on wooden spoons!!!

I seem to have too much time on my hands in Japan... If I was in Oz i could fill in my spare time by surfing! If I lived near a mountain i could snowboard everyday.. If I shifeted all of my work into hectic days i could surf in summer and board for 5 days straight... anyone else have too much time too???

ohh, by the way i am from SA too and if you think winters surf is cold there.... if you dont mind using snow shoes to get to the surf and like mogski said about 5cm's of rubber U should be right..
