  1. Zer0star If you find it so difficult and/or tiresome to change the setting when you are logged in to ON, I can only suggest that you logout and use the Forums that way.
  2. Look, if you are having issues could you please email us with them rather than creating long threads like this on the matter? I would also still be very interested to hear why you think that anonymous users have more priveleges than yourself. Thank you.
  3. If you turn 'Show User's Avatars?' to ON you will be able to see those pictures. You currently have it set to OFF, and so you cannot see them. So is there any 'other' part of our 'nice system' that gives anonymous users more priveleges than yourself?

The quickest way to contact us is to send us an email at the contact address / form - there are Contact Us links on every page of the Forums.
  5. People certainly do seemore - you may be surprised. Thanks for the help before Mamabear and yes I totally agree with you and we of course have no problems with that. I wasn't at all implying that anyone in this thread was doing such things I hope you understand!
  6. Yes I have done that for you SantaCruz. Just a general comment but please keep in mind that our Forums rules ( here ) apply to PM's too. PM's aren't a means to do sales/advertise/promote. Someone last year thought it was a real coup to be able to send out their sales message to 50 established Forums members. It certainly would have been if we allow that, but we don't. Thanks.
  7. It would be very nice wouldn't it. There will be lots of Giveaways once again and we'll tell you more on that nearer the time....
  8. Hi Mantas, those pics aren't defined image URLs, so the pics not showing. If they are snow related, feel free to up them to SJ: http://www.snowjapan.com/e/insider/photo_gallery.php Otherwise just make sure it is a definite URL in the form http://www.../imagename.jpg
  9. Or even here on http://www.snowjapan.com/e/hotel/index.html http://www.snowjapan.com/e/services/index.html
  10. That is simply just a decision I think I made when we were putting them all together, snowjunky. We made those ourselves you see, and had to come up with names for them all. On reflection perhaps an English word would be best - but you can always just click on it to get it in there. Sometimes the Japanese comes quicker than the English.
  11. There isn't more detailed data on the pages, spook, sorry. What you could do is look at the archives of the daily reports we do - might not be exactly the kind of thing you want but there is definitely useful info in there, for those popular regions: http://www.snowjapan.com/e/daily/nowcalendar.php (If anyone else has any other info for this kind of thing we would be keen to hear about it - please contact us directly and we will see what we can do. Thanks.) I would think the best time in terms of snowfall in most areas on an normal year would be mid-January to mid-February
  12. Yes, thanks 1 and everyone else who has provided feedback. It has given us a good idea of what people are using and is very helpful. Thanks.
  13. Thanks again for the feedback, it's all a big help. Interesting how so many people are using just a few versions.
  14. Which reminds me. At the request of a few lazy people, you have one more week to post some pics in this thread - lasto chansu!
  15. Thank you for the feedback. Please do keep them coming if you haven't posted already. Appreciate the help.
  16. You're welcome. Give me a shout if you have any problems. SKI - part of what I do is keep an eye on things and we have a few beeps and stuff that help but it's not all instant! Just depends on timing. We try to be as helpful and accessible as we can, that's all.
  17. Hi snowjunky Once you have uploaded your photos to SJ, you will then have the photos stored on our server.... there is a URL for each photo - when you view a photo you should see View URL link under the photo... click on that and it will tell you the URL. Copy and paste and stick it in between tags and that should be it. If you need more help please just send me a PM/email and I'll be happy to help. Thanks
  18. Hi there Just wanting to get a bit of feedback as we troubleshoot something. It would be interesting to hear what version of Flash people have on their browsers and help us in making things as compatible for everyone. As most people probably don't know off-hand, simply clicking on this link here will tell you "Your Player Version" - http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html Don't worry, nothing nasty will happen or any changes made to your computer! It will only take a matter of seconds, but if you can please check it and let us know in this thread we would really ap
  19. Photos being too big will not be a reason for them not displaying using the tags. Did you not try uploading them to SJ, Myoko Guy? It's very easy and the system now resizes photos automatically. If you try and need any help please just let us know.
