I've been skiing until now but last year had a go on a snowboard, found it surprisingly easy. Had a lot of fun as well. Not sure how much me being skiing had to do with the ease compared to someone new coming to it. I think I might mix it up again next winter given the chance.

I'm not making the effort this time round and just hoping to get to Japan in Jan or Feb. Being real busy at work sort of helps make that decision easier.

Skier here. A few seasons in Aus, a trip to NZ and three weeks in Canada. -
We sort of put off a trip last season. It wasn't planned or anything but we were thinking about it. We're definitely on for this year though, but won't know details until around November because of work and stuff.
