  1. The girls I was with had no problems at all every 5 minutes I got on a couple of times to my own account as well, all via the wireless connection at our accomodation. Must be with where you are staying. On another note Skype however was RUBBISH. Dropped connections, no video or no sound, massive delay etc. So I tried 'Facetime' on my iPhone 4 to contact the family at home, first time I had used it - it was sensational. Not a single glitch, very crisp and clear with no delay. I was impressed. Highjack over
  2. Rasutu sure does get some good snow too, wonder where that is actually I am a serial mispeller myself...
  3. I saw the 3DX2 (I believe, that or an earlier version of it) being ridden while over in Niseko, they are a seriously soft board and a whole lot of convex base. The guy riding it sure did make it look very good, fast and very quick around the turns, slashing it up plenty. Pretty specific powder board that model though. The 3DX1 looks more like my style BUT they are way too expensive IMHO unless you are living on snow alot or are just flush with cash. Giorgio did you say that there ARE (or are not)regular and good powder conditions in Italy? For the money you could not go past a Hoverc
  4. Yeh true, he sounds like a real nerd So 15.10m average in Hirafu or is that the 1000m mark?

  6. So 26cm difference between Yuzawa and Kutchan - not much in it, a difference of 2.2%. 20m - 29m of snow
  7. It is not really about talking snow BM rather talking BS (or hearing it), and that is something we excel at
  8. HAHA if you are serious (and I can not believe you are) then you are blind as well. You can see part of the building above the back of the truck. It is plainly obvious that snow is sitting on a roof. Hey... you were the one calling out GN for proof, why don't you get the picture in summer and gain some credibility yourself, a before and after photo

Am I missing something...that's not a wall The wall (cross section) besides (to the right of) the traffic lights isn't even 2m high The snow behind is on a roof, pretty easy to tell that, you can see it to the left of the traffic lights and the way it is sitting 'one storey up with the pile of fallen snow in front. Here (guess where) 80cm from road to the 'cut' footpath and the
  10. Very Nice work sand. Love the scene cuts during the face shots Nice to meet you on the 22nd. Back in Feb? I am jealous much - NAH!
  11. I think it is great... really amazing scenery and very nice footage but it needs some further context, a subject matter, like YOU
  12. Day off yesterday for an Onsen and then into Kutchan for a look around. 6pm came around and we picked a little bar called Boroya for a few pre-dinner drinks before we moved on to a restaurant. Well we did not get out until after midnight. Food was pretty good whatever you had and Hidake (spelling?), our gracious host was very understanding and forgiving of our Australian (and later drunken ways). We did drink him out of one particular Sake, Red Bull, Ginger Ale and Vodka. Highly recommend you drop in pay a visit at Boroya for a look \:\) The forecast (online and local) for some good snow
  13. I am pretty sure I got some pics generally haven't gone through them yet. Will wait until I can have the jack hammer removed from my head. Those tracks are ours from the first run
