well it looks like Nikki and I will be headed to Hakuba for a week in (probably) February. The only thing holding up the planning at the moment is that Nikki fractured her ankle in Thredbo in August, and she still hasnt recovered properly

perhaps by installing a blue light, you are proactively preventing drugs becoming a problem?

most secondhand on ebay US won't ship overseas, but you can get freight forwarders to do it. check out http://sporting-goods.shop.ebay.com/Mountain-Bikes-/98083/i.html?LH_ItemCondition=2&Complete%2520Bike%252FFrame=Complete%2520Bike&_catref=1&_dmpt=Mountain_Bikes&_fln=1&_ssov=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m282 for the bikes you get the seller to package and deliver to here www.parcelsforwarding.com ask them how much for postage to Japan, probably around USD100-150ish but as Stemik says, go to a local shop first and suss out what style and size best suits you

is ebay etc popular there? big market for second hand bikes where people choose a change in lifestyle, buy an expensive bike, ride it 10kms and then leave it in storage for 12 months before selling it secondhand. some nice bargains to be had!

18kgs is a bit heavy, but not an issue if youre only going to commute. I see its only got V-brakes, rather than discs, and no-name suspension. Again, not really suitable for off-road work, but I gather the folding frame is important to you, and as long as you only commute, shouldnt be a problem. I'd question the strength of the hinge off-road too

Webber cruised home to first, from pole and this is despite safety car incidents, bunching up the cars 4 times. he would have won by around 40secs if there were no incidents. And even better, the Aussie anthem rang twice in Monaco when Perth driver Ricciardo won the Formula Renault 3.5 race 3 hours earlier

Pool had the worse season for quite a while. however, i suppose it was promising to see that they conceded the 2nd lowest number of goals, after chelsea. I'm suggesting that Pool probably have the best defense in England. chelsea cant actually claim that, they were so busy at the other end scoring goals, their defense was rarely tested!! -

i think Flash Forward is reasonagbly good, but frustrating at the same time because some episodes seem to create more questions than answer them I'm bothered now that if it isnt renewed, I'll get left hanging without a conclusion to the story. snow huntress, not sure if yr aware, but men in trees is now been shown on sunday afternoons around 2pm -

and theres no overnight parking at perisher, so you have to train if youre not a daytripper. and no car access at all to Blue Cow or Charlotte Pass, so you have to train those links, even if youve driven to Perisher -

I feel so sorry for kids whose parents set rediculous standards. i have always encouraged my kids, but never forced them, which sometimes disappoints me inside when one of them doesnt want to be encouraged. My kids are all pretty good, 3 are very reliable, one is a bit of a wildfire, but still honest and good-natured. (everybody tells me he is a clone of me, but i'm not sure where they get that idea from????) -

I have 4 boys, who are now all teenagers. Neither my wife, nor I have ever smacked them. I'm not against smacking, just never felt the need to (and it might hurt my poor hand!!) I'm happy with an appropriate punishment being removal of privileges, like computer or mobile phone access (in really bad instances I will threaten them with brussell sprouts for dinner!! LOL ) My parents used to belt the hell out of me with a collection of hands, shoes, belts and even a horse riding crop. fortunately I didnt adopt a similar policy -

There are a lot of Toyota Camrys out there - doesnt mean I want to look at pictures of them. The typical poster, or wallpaper, or calendar shot is not of a Camry. And MB, not all of us are chubs - at 46 I still enjoy working quite hard at what Ive got (not even approaching perfection, but certainly not a chub! LOL) (unfortunatley my other passion for food seems to counter my exercise passion!) -
it is a very classy advert, backed up by a classy billy joel song

I'm just about to commit to a week in Thredbo on 22nd August. Yes the snow can be questionable, and yes it can be crowded in school holidays, but I still love the place, and I can jump in the car and drive to Perisher if I need to -
