  1. Wandered into an Irish pub in Niseko and the match was on. Never seen so many people cheering for a tennis match. It was sardines in there.
  2. Hi Martin, Just saw our message right now, around 7pm on Monday. Tried to PM you but it looks like it's not enabled for you yet. Let's try and meet up tomorrow how about? Thermometer @ 3 sounds good. I'm tall, white, w/ a beard. Oh yeah, my name is James I'll check SJ before heading out tomorrow to confirm.
  3. Hi Martin, I'll be arriving in Niseko tonight and an intermediate level snow boarder. Not sure how well we'll match up on the hill, but I'm down to give it a try. Cheers, James

I also noticed that she took us through drill after drill ensuring we were all in control of our boards using a variety of riding styles and techniques (tweaking as she went). Joke is funny because it definitely applies to the major producers of beer in America. Mitch, since you've been in Portland a few times I'm sure you know how good of a beer scene it is. It's ab it better compared to Seattle even. After being spoiled by Portland and
  12. I've never had mine freeze. The bladder stays warm since it's inside the backpack. On mine the tube also has some insulate around it. Occasionally it will freeze a little bit around the bite valve, but it's never prevented me from getting water. If it's super cold I think the secret is to blow the water back into the bladder leaving none in the tube. Then it should be 0 problems. But I've never been in weather that cold yet.

  14. I always ride with a backpack/camelbak combo. It holds 2 liters of water (or your liquid of choice) and is easily accessible. Typically I'll go through the whole reservoir in a day. I'm also a big fan of having the back pack to hold my crap such as extra layers, glove liners, beanie, etc. Works out well and it's not to heavy.
  15. SH - I do love that about Japan. Adding those extra 0's on the end makes ya feel rich To bad the zero's don't follow us back home huh?
  16. I fly in Sat night and fly back on the 2nd. Ping one of the admins on here to get your PMs working and I'll send you my email addy. Hope you have a good Christmas!
  17. Thanks JA. I'll probably bring enough cash to cover lodging + some extra. And then I'll use my credit card in Hirafu whenever I can.
