The added time can be bad but having to go through America is worse under pretty much any circumstance. I can't believe some of the people they have working at the airports in the states... Pretty much the worst of the worst and a shame that this is the first contact you have with America when you arrive.

The ticket I bought for my wife last week to join me in Canada during obon is 80,000¥ more expensive now. Quite the increase in one week and super happy I didn't wait any longer. My ticket, a direct flight to Canada at the end of July was 200,000¥. A bit more than I wanted to spend but paying the extra money to avoid having to transfer in America is worth it.

Simplified it goes: takenoko/nikujaga (spring), somen/zaru soba (summer), nimono/furai(fried stuff) (autumn), and nabe (winter). All season classics include any type of fish and/or tempura. C'mon, get it right guys!

TBH, I'm not really that interested in CL either. I usually just watch the highlights once a week. This was an interesting final though since it was two teams from the same city. It has to be heartbreaking for Atletico fans but the team accomplished quite an amazing feat this season. As for Real, I guess it just goes to show what spending a billion dollars on transfers and fee can get you!

I'm a big fan of camping. I usually spend a few weeks each year camping somewhere near a beach. I like the Izu islands a lot... except when it's vacation time.
