The idea of a Holiday home to escape the aussie summer is growing on me (I have to count my millions first (or lack of them))

this is a really interesting thread... I don't see myself (at this point in life) living in japan but the idea of a holiday home (the log cabin type) where you can spend x months of the year snowboarding and playing radio (vk2fsng) is food for thought I wonder how much it would cost ?
