Aizu Kogen Nango is about equal distance from the Aizu Wakamatsu IC on the Banetsu Expressway to the north and also a few exits on the Tohoku Expressway to the east.
From the Nishi Nasuno Shiobara IC on the Tohoku Expressway, turn right onto Route 400 and head in a northerly direction for about 27km until reaching Route 121. Continue straight on (on Route 121, signposted as Aizuwakamatsu and Minamiaizu) for about 25km until reaching Tajima and a junction with Route 289. Turn onto Route 289 and head in a westerly direction towards Tadami. Follow Route 289 for about 30km until reaching the turn off for Route 401 with Showa on the side. Turn right here and just over 500m later the ski area is on the right hand side.
