Kita Nikko Takahata is a ski area located in Minamiaizu Town in the southwestern Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture.
This ski area was known as Aizu Kogen Takahata until 2021.
This ski area has traditionally been skiers-only, but that policy changed from the 2022-2023 season. Snowboarders are now welcome!
The mountain has four pair lifts and four named areas, known as Black, Red, Blue and Orange.
There are four ski areas in Minamiaizu Town, the others being Aizu Kogen Daikura, Aizu Kogen Nango and Aizu Kogen Takatsue. This region might not be as convenient as the ski areas around Mt Bandai, but the snow quality is often good.
