Fairy Land Kaneyama is a ski area located in Kaneyama Town in the western region of Fukushima Prefecture.
This ski area has two pair lifts. The lower 220m lift goes up to the main base area, which has a building housing various facilities and a sledging course. The second 780m lift goes from there to the top. Car parking is available near both ski lifts.
There used to be a third ski lift at Fairly Land Kaneyama, down the other side of the hill. That lift has been closed for a while.

Introduction to the region
Fukushima Prefecture is the southernmost prefecture of the Tohoku region of northern Japan. Fukushima Prefecture borders Miyagi Prefecture and Yamagata Prefecture to the north, Niigata Prefecture to the west, Gunma Prefecture to the southwest, and Tochigi Prefecture and Ibaraki Prefecture to the south.
The majority of the ski areas in Fukushima Prefecture are in the northern region around Mt. Bandai and north of Lake Inawashiro (the fourth-largest lake in Japan), as well as in the western region of the prefecture.
Fairy Land Kaneyama is the only ski area currently operating in Kaneyama Town.
