The latest Furano Now report can be found here . Good and bad news for today. The good news is that there has been 10cm new snow since yesterday and the base on the mountain is rapidly increasing. You might want to think about adding an extra layer of clothing if you're thinking about heading out there for a few early runs. The good news for the day is that the clouds have broken up and the sun is shining through. There are a few flurries flying here and there, but on the whole we've got plenty of blue skies, sunshine, and southerly winds in the forecast for today that should warm us up to the minus single digits in no time. We got a healthy dose of snow yesterday, so there should be plenty of fresh spots on the mountain for your winter sporting enjoyment.
