Good and bad news for today. The good news is that there has been 10cm new snow since yesterday and the base on the mountain is rapidly increasing. The not so good news is that the ski area is unable to open today due to ice build up on Furano Ropeway. Hopefully all this will be removed today and things will be back to normal by tomorrow. Assuming things are open tomorrow it will be great conditions for the earlybirds with a substantial amount of fresh snow having fallen in the last couple of days and nobody has been able to ski it.
