We're off to a chilly start this morning. Clear skies and calm winds led to overnight lows around -24. Not quite as cold as the wintery blast we saw around Christmas, but cold enough to make you want to bundle up as you head out there on those slopes today. You might want to think about adding an extra layer of clothing if you're thinking about heading out there for a few early runs.
The good news for the day is that the clouds have broken up and the sun is shining through. There are a few flurries flying here and there, but on the whole we've got plenty of blue skies, sunshine, and southerly winds in the forecast for today that should warm us up to the minus single digits in no time.
We got a healthy dose of snow yesterday, so there should be plenty of fresh spots on the mountain for your winter sporting enjoyment. Also, a chance for some significant snow overnight means tomorrow will be a good day for skiing as well!
