Sunday was a cracker of a day with 15cm of fresh snow at village level and even more at higher elevations. There was some great powder skiing to be had on the main runs and with very few people around there was no need to venture too far off the sides for the whole day.
Today is currently cloudy on the Furano Zone but blue sky in Kitanomine. There was a little more snow yesterday evening so conditions are once again going to be fantastic. Today the pistes have been well groomed but if you are looking for powder there will still be plenty of that available. The forecast through to the weekend is for light snow daily.
