There was a dusting of about 2cm overnight and the day started with low cloud, very flat light and cold temperatures. As the morning progressed the light improved to make those bumps and the ground in general more visible. At the same time the snow started again and deposited about 4cm on the ground in just a couple of hours. The mountain had been extensively groomed but on the upper slopes had 7cm of fresh powder on top of the grooming and around 2cm on the lower slopes. The cold weather must have encouraged a lot of people to stay in bed this morning as there was hardly anyone out on the mountain during the first part of the morning. The forecast for the next couple of days looks to be very similar to today - more continuous light snow.
