I was out walking around earlier on it was really cold.

After a calm evening yesterday, we're back to snow and winter conditions this morning in Shiga Kogen.

Another 5+cm of snow overnight and it is still snowing lightly now.

Back to cold conditions this morning and it's generally more winter like after the 'blip' that we had yesterday.

It's not as cold this morning, though still way under zero of course.

Nice weather yesterday, snow overnight and it seems the clouds are clearing again this morning with some blue sky opening up in places and the sun shining through.

Hiding behind some of the remaining clouds at times, but it looks like things might well clear today.

A dusting of new snow is about all we had this morning but it was snowing early on but... it's actually quite nice now, here in Maruike anyway.

It's still snowing. Early on this morning it's rather dark looking clouds and snow coming down quite heavily here in the Maruike area of Shiga Kogen.

Snow continues to fall over Shiga Kogen and another 10-15cm on the slopes.

Fine weather conditions yesterday made for somewhat crusty snow conditions in places on the slopes, and this morning there's about 5-10cm of fresh on top of that.

Quite a strong northerly wind in areas this morning blowing around the snow that is continuing to fall.
