More snow overnight and it's calmer this morning.

Loads of snow at the moment as this winter storm continues to deliver.

It's snowing heavily in Shiga Kogen this morning as we expected.

10cm or so of new snowfall overnight and it is still falling. A quite strong wind blowing around as well just now.

Decent amount of snow since yesterday with most of the resorts adding about 15-20cm to their snow depths, but there has been more than that.

Decent visibility here in the Maruike area of Shiga Kogen this morning but small snowflakes are coming down quite quickly.

A snowy day yesterday left us with about 10cm of fresh on the ground, but this morning we're back to sunny skies.

We have some new snow since yesterday - and it is still snowing here - but I can't see any changes to the resort operations.

It was just cloudy when I got up earlier on but snow is now falling... and falling nicely as well.

The last week has seen temperatures plummet and some sprinklings of snow and.... oh yes, the Kumanoyu area is open!
