Quite a strong northerly wind in areas this morning blowing around the snow that is continuing to fall. It's a bit calmer down here in the Maruike part of Shiga Kogen but still snow falling.
Very cold too.
Seems quite busy today, and I just remembered a good reason why... it's a national holiday today.
The Shibutoge area of Shiga Kogen - the far southern area, connected with Yokoteyama and run by the same folk - is now open.
Clearer skies are forecast for tomorrow with a good chance of snow falling on Christmas Day.
