Late March greetings from Shiga Kogen. We have fresh snow!

Some wet snow overnight but it has changed to rain this morning... however, in some places it is still snowing (example Okushiga Kogen).

The snow has eased off and there is a bit of sun shining through the remaining clouds this morning.

As my Myoko colleague said this morning... the madness of 2024 continues.

This season is truly crazy!

We had some snow falling until early this morning and there is another nice new layer around areas with ski areas reporting from 2cm to 10cm.

It might be the second half of March, but it's like a blizzard out there as I write this.

After that snow yesterday we have been enjoying some blue skies this morning.

It was really cold early morning and while we will have sun today snow conditions should be keeping very nice this morning.

Full-on winter continues with another 30-40cm (and more) of fresh snow.

Good morning from Shiga Kogen as the mid-winter-like early March continues to deliver.

There was some snow falling earlier on but it has eased now and there are some hints of blue sky appearing in places.

Just a little snow this morning and it is snowing quite nicely in some places (Okushiga Kogen) right now.
