Late March greetings from Shiga Kogen.
We have fresh snow!
Yes, it didn't start off that great yesterday but since then it got colder and there's 10+cm of snow on the ground. I just measured 12cm. (Kumanoyu is reporting 10cm).
While it's still cloudy, clearer skies are forecast for the day so it will probably clear up, at least somewhat.
Below are the planned closing dates of ski areas in Shiga Kogen. In the late season, ski areas often scale back operations and/or may be closed on weekdays or on certain days.
All the dates below are the planned dates and they are subject to change due to snow conditions.
