Snowfall at base this season 549cm

Morning from Shiga Kogen.

There was some snow falling earlier on but it has eased now and there are some hints of blue sky appearing in places. A layer of fresh to enjoy, though. Okushiga Kogen is reporting 15cm of it and Kumanoyu is saying 0cm, so it's clearly varied across the region.

More snow is still due, too, particularly around Saturday.

A few friends have been saying the same thing over the last few days:

February felt like March.

March feels like February.
