Just, wow.
Windy and poor visibility this morning - affecting a number of lift operations across Shiga Kogen - but sun, calm(er) and milder conditions are due tomorrow.
It will be great.
I'm taking out the official snow depth data numbers, mainly because I feel they are close to meaningless. They hardly ever change, even after heavy snowfall, and I feel they cause more confusion than anything. Much more useful at this stage of the season are the planned spring ski dates and closing dates. You can see those below. I will, of course, continue to report observed snowfall and snowfall reported by ski areas (and the snow depth if I feel it is meaningful).
