Sunshine this morning here in Shiga Kogen.

That early rain and sleet of yesterday is behind us now - thankfully - and we actually have a bit more snow on the ground this morning.

I was hoping we would avoid rain up here in Shiga Kogen, but unfortunately that isn't wasn't case. It was raining overnight.

A bit of snowfall since my report yesterday, the snow eased off and we enjoyed some clearer weather conditions for a while.

It is snowing this morning, and I have measured 8cm to add to the reports.

I was just over in the Kumanoyu area and there was lovely bright sunshine and blue skies over there.

More snow from yesterday, but this morning things are calmer and clearer... there's even some sunshine at the start of the day and blue skies.

It's snowing! A good 15-20cm of snow on the ground this morning and it is going to be adding up the way it is falling now.

I didn't spend the day in bed, as Mozzer might say, but I did have a bit of a lie-in this morning.
