Good morning from Shiga Kogen.
It's snowing! A good 15-20cm of snow on the ground this morning and it is going to be adding up the way it is falling now.
The forecast is looking good too. Snow expected through today, getting heavier tonight and tomorrow and hopefully through into Thursday as well.
All of the Shiga Kogen resort areas are open and most courses are available. There are still a few areas not yet 100% open - those being Terakoya through Hoppo, as well as Sun Valley and Hasuike).
Surely after the next few days we'll be able to proudly proclaim 'fully open'. Looking forward to being able to say that.
In the meantime, wrap up well and be prepared for the wintery conditions over the next few days.
