The sun is out this morning.

Fresh snow! And actually, quite a decent amount of it too. It took its time to get geared up yesterday but once it did conditions got pretty wild.

Yakebitaiyama is reporting 5-10cm of fresh snowfall, I am measuring 4cm up until the time of this report outside here in Maruike and there's snow on the roads.

It is a good morning here in Shiga Kogen. The fresh snow that we wanted is here.

Well, this morning it feels a bit more winter-like - I even have some fresh snow to report which is a nice surprise.

Early report this morning and after the warmer conditions yesterday, it is colder this morning and there is a bit of snow on the ground.

Some more snow since my report yesterday during the daytime but this morning we have clearer skies and it is calmer, though it didn't get really windy yesterday (or not as much as we were warned it might).

Kumanoyu and Yakebitaiyama are both reporting about 15cm of fresh snowfall, wit the latter hinting at more on the mountain. My over enthusiastic friend (bless him) is reporting more than 30cm

It is a good morning here in Shiga Kogen. Not if you want clear and sunny skies.

After the stormy weather, it's sunny this morning and I think it's safe to say it will likely be the best morning of the season so far.
