Good morning.
Fresh snow! And actually, quite a decent amount of it too. It took its time to get geared up yesterday but once it did conditions got pretty wild.
This morning Yakebitaiyama are reporting 30cm (and 60cm over the last two days), Kumanoyu are reporting 20cm and my enthusiastic friend (code name: bless him!) is saying 40cm.
Whatever the number, take the lowest, there's a decent amount of fresh snow on the slopes this morning! :)
It is still snowing (light to moderate depending on area) but perhaps easing off later this morning.
Clearer weather is due tomorrow too so conditions should remain very good even if it is a bit milder.
All areas and connections at Shiga Kogen are now open (with just a few minor exceptions).
