At 9am and there's some blue sky and sun in some places not too far away, but it's still snowing here... for now.

Another 75cm of snow being reported by the ski area from the top Yamabiko section since yesterday afternoon.

I hesitated somewhat posting earlier this morning as I took in the snowfall numbers reported by the ski area.

Lots of fresh snow since yesterday as the mid-winter cold conditions have returned.

There was some cloud around early morning but it is now pretty much clear and sunny and a very fine (and mild) morning.

There is still some wind, but it is calmer today and the sun is out giving us good visibility. There is a chance of some light snow this afternoon.

I have to be quick this morning. But basically it is snowy (think wet more than light and fluffy) and windy.

Hello from Nozawa and we've had another large amount of snow since yesterday morning.

The snow keeps on coming. And it is still windy.

Yesterday the ski area was reporting 32cm of snowfall by 3pm on the top Yamabiko area.

It has really been coming down at times (snowing) in the last hour. Naski has only been out at Hikage since 8am and is already wearing a snow hat.

A lot of snow overnight and with the bit since early morning during the day yesterday, the ski area seems to be reporting 44-55cm of snow on upper areas.
