Independent snow and weather reporting from the Nozawa Onsen region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 20cm
Snowfall at base this season 619cm

Posted on Thursday 6th February 2025 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.

A lot of snow overnight and with the bit since early morning during the day yesterday, the ski area seems to be reporting 44-55cm of snow on upper areas. Lots.

I have 20cm to report from base.

It is another cold morning and those forecasts show relentless incoming snow for at least another several days. Ranging from light to heavy snow during that period. Friday night looks like it should be huge numbers.

Take care out there, enough fresh snow within the ski area for everyone right now.
