New snowfall at base 40cm
Snowfall at base this season 599cm

We have a lot of fresh snow!

I'm a bit confused with the snowfall numbers on the official site this morning, so leaving them off here.

I measured 40cm, though I notice more and less than that just nearby too. Perhaps wind playing trick? But anyway, the heaviest snowfall was yesterday morning and then evening and overnight (it eased off during the daytime).

It has eased off now too, and there is even a bit of sun peeking through the clouds in places (check the Yamabiko image below).

A lot more snow is due today, tomorrow... and for maybe a few more days after that.

It's cold, too.

Exciting times. And Naski looks very pleased.

Fresh snowfall since yesterday afternoon (as reported by the ski area):
