Another 75cm of snow being reported by the ski area from the top Yamabiko section since yesterday afternoon.
It feels like it has eased off somewhat this morning but forecasts all say that there's more snow on the way until at least Sunday.
If you want some sunshine, plan for around Tuesday!
But if you want lots of lovely fresh snow, now is pretty good too. ;)
Fresh snowfall since yesterday afternoon as reported by the ski area:
Yamabiko: 75cm
Uenotaira: 70cm
Hikage: 35cm
Nagasaka: 34cm
Karasawa: 20cm
Official snow depth numbers (reported by the ski area):
Yamabiko: 455cm
Uenotaira: 385cm
Hikage: 310cm
Nagasaka: 305cm
Karasawa: 235cm
Lifts & courses:
All runs open apart from Kamoshika
All scheduled lifts are operating as planned
The Utopia pair lift and Challenge pair lift are normally closed on weekdays
Night skiing:
Scheduled for every Saturday until 22nd March 2025 on the Nagasaka area (and also on 23rd February 2025)
