Hello from Nozawa and we've had another large amount of snow since yesterday morning.
Since then the ski area has reported 63cm on the top Yamabiko area and 56cm at Uenotaira; 30+ down at base areas.
There's some limited visibility up on the mountain as of 9am still, but there are also some signs lower down that the sun wants to make an appearance.
We do expect more snow especially overnight again into tomorrow morning. Then some clearer weather probably on Wednesday along with milder conditions.
Tomorrow is a national holiday and some people will be taking today off to make it a long weekend. As such it might be busier than a normal Monday.
