Some good snow falling at times yesterday, but it curiously didn't result in big numbers.

Just 1-2cm of fresh is being reported by the resort (base to top), and I can add 1cm to the report with a light dusting on my car.

Them there snow clouds did indeed visit us yesterday after that fine start.

I thought it might be snowing this morning, but the light snow overnight has eased off and clouds have mostly cleared.

I have a fine layer of fresh snow to report to you this morning. The resort is reporting 20-40cm of fresh and I am measuring 26cm.

It's a beautiful morning here in Nozawa. Some cloud to be seen but not over our mountain; a bit of low cloud hanging around lower areas, but that will surely disappear quickly.

Something of a very nice surprise this morning with some very decent snowfall on the ground by base and the resort itself reporting between 20cm and 40cm of fresh snow.

By 3pm yesterday the resort was reporting 10-18cm of fresh snowfall across the mountain and this morning and extra 10-20cm.

It's really very cold this morning. Possibly and probably the coldest of the season.
