The forecast was for some sun, at least from midday, but apart from a brief moment where it got a little brighter there's no sign of things stopping at the moment.

There was the possibility of some heavy snow, but we basically had a day of light fall through the day, not much accumulation, and then increasing snowfall in the evening.

Cold and clear this morning; Akakan and Ikenotaira picked the perfect day to start the season! Just a little extra snow overnight—maybe 25-30cm (funny when a foot of snow seems like "just a little").
