Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 10cm
Snowfall at base this season 731cm

Posted on Friday 9th January 2015 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

No snow falling at the moment in Myoko, although it's on the forecast for the coming days.

The wind is also light from the west, and it's a bit brighter out than in recent days (could that be sun to the southeast over Nagano City?).

Monday is a national holiday in Japan and so the long weekend coming up should be popular with lots of people around.
