The last day of season 2018-2019; it's really getting green at base level, but there's enough snow for a fun last day on the slopes (and of the long Golden Week as well).

Time for an update as we enter the super-long Golden Week for 2019.

Wasn't sure when I'd update, but about 13cm of new snow at base level on April 8 deserves a mention.

It is sunny; spring has returned.

That snow kept going through the day and into this morning. We even had a bit of a whiteout in the afternoon - a blizzard in April!

It's been a bit of April Fool weather from yesterday into today: 35 cm of fresh?

Back in the office for the post-season. We got more snow after a day of rain, snow, blustery winds, blue skies.

Sunny today, after a bit more snow yesterday. Not a lot of accumulation, though, and it's melting right away....

It was a dark and stormy night.... Pretty blustery last evening.

The sun is back; spring has returned with warm temps, soft snow and blue skies. Just a little bit of snow fell overnight.

Got myself delayed just enjoying the snow.... not a lot; can't expect that much this time of year.

A little bit of fresh this morning, just enough to soften up the slopes but not really enough to cover the gray snow walls around town.

It is really sunny today; perfect blue skies earlier, a little bit of haze and a few clouds drifting through the gap between Mt. Myoko and Mt. Kurohime to the south.

A little snow in the afternoon yesterday and overnight.
