Time for an update as we enter the super-long Golden Week for 2019.
And it is coming in with style — it is snowing at the moment. Things really turned spring-like over the four days I was away, with the snowpack going down from about one meter to about 30cm. Same for the ski areas, but now suddenly some snowfall!
And it's gotten noticeably colder. Who knows what it will do (I doubt it will build up much, but who knows in a season like this one?)
Oh, and the cherry blossoms are now sort of mid-bloom. The surprises just keep coming in the last days of the Heisei Era.
