Good news this morning everyone.

A spell of no fresh snowfall for a few days.

Hello from here in Hakuba and yes, there's more snow to report.

I'm measuring 11cm on the ground at base and here's what the resorts are reporting in terms of fresh snowfall...

I had an excellent day out on the slopes yesterday finding some great snow conditions and a few areas that were not as busy as you'd expect on a Saturday.

The snow is back! Headlines for powder hunters...

Yesterday the morning in particular was a real cracker! Beautiful blue skies and sunshine and all our lovely snow.

This snow storm doesn't seem to want to let up yet.
