While we were treated to some more wet conditions in the village, the upper slopes were getting more fresh snow and overnight up to 30cm of fresh snowfall is being reported by Happo-one.

Hello from Hakuba on this Monday morning; and what we very much hope will be the start of a big week.

This morning there's 3cm of fresh snow on the ground at base and surely more higher up. The one number I can find is Happo-one reporting 5cm.

Yesterday was an odd one with that mix of wind (and then another spell of wet conditions to put the boot in down at lower levels).

It was a mild yesterday and we had periods of mostly blue sky and then times when there was more cloud around, particularly around mid afternoon.
