Good news this morning everyone.
After that snow to rain thing going on early yesterday morning, by the end of yesterday it was back to snow and this morning there's a fresh layer out there.
Here is what the resorts are reporting this morning:
Hakuba 47: 15-20cm
Hakuba Cortina: 15-20cm
Hakuba Goryu: 10-20cm
Hakuba Happo-one: 15cm
I am measuring 14cm at my point so it looks like we can expect a fresh layer of around 15-20cm out on the slopes. Hopefully enough to cover that rained-on hard layer we had yesterday.
It is a cold morning and while there is a lot of cloud still around there has been some blue sky on show in places and the local forecast does seem to point to clearing up conditions. We may end up with some sunshine.
More snowfall is due from later in the day tomorrow and through Thursday too. Maybe a decent amount too. Sounds good!
